'Lace' like Weaving

.Lace like finger manipulated Weaving. Saturday 31st January: 09H00 to 17H00 PLUS Saturday 21st February: 10h00 to 16h00 Venue: The Studio, de Trafford Wine .NOT FOR BEGINNERS. Take your weaving skills a step further by learning the art of finger controlled/manipulated techniques to create various lace-like patterns. Make a gilet - ideal for summer outfits OR a small curtain; summer shawl OR bag. You will need a loom of minimum size of 50cm and a 7.5 dpi reed. You will need to warp up in preparation for the workshop in DK cotton. We will weave the first quarter of the fabric together. You will complete the rest of the weaving in your own time at home. We will meet again on Saturday 21st February to piece the work together into the gilete/curtain/bag or shawl and finish off the fringes. Once you have booked you will be contacted to discuss your project and quantity of yarn you will be needing. The cost includes both days. Includes all refreshments and lunches on both days CANCELLATION POLICY: This workshop is refundable, minus a 10% cancellation fee if cancelled before Friday 9th January 2026. No refunds will be given if cancelled on or after 9th January.
