Eco-Print your very own Silk Scarf

Service Description

09H00 to 17H00 Venue: The Studio, de Trafford Wines, Stellenbosch This is a great way to see what botanical printing is all about and to realize that absolutely no artistic experience is required to enjoy this very free form of art with nature - and you will have a silk scarf to wear and show off every day. All full-day workshops include morning and afternoon refreshments with nibbles and a lovely lunch accompanied by some delicious de Trafford wines. You will will create 2 scarves - one for yourself and the other for your chosen charity. Once created, your scarf will be photographed for the website and will be sold through my website. 75% of proceeds will be deposited into your chosen charity's account so please bring ALL their details. So far R950.00 has been deposited into each of the following charities: DARG; Ladles of Love, AWSS and Paarl SPCA from a similar workshop held at the end of last year. A not so brief chat will be followed by some foraging, collecting and then to make a beautiful botanically printed silk scarf . A lovely interlude of a late-ish lunch will take place around 1.30pm. Please let me know soonest of any special dietary requirements. There will be a coffee/tea & snack station available throughout the day. Please don't plan to leave earlier than 5pm. I will be in contact with you via Whatsapp closer to date of workshop. What to bring: comfy shoes sunhat notebook & pen garden scissors basket/bag for collecting comfortable washing up gloves your own water bottle for staying hydrated CANCELLATION POLICY: This workshop is refundable-minus a 5% cancellation fee - if cancelled before 7th September 2023. Thereafter a voucher will be issued that can be used within 12 months. No vouchers or refunds will be given if cancelled after 21st September 2023.
