4-Shaft Weaving Saturday 17th January: 09H00 to 17H00 Venue: The Studio, de Trafford Wine for the Beginner. On Saturday the 17th we will have a warping demo, a practical threading exercise and of course weaving. All on the Lojan's 4-shaft conversion looms. Basics of reading a draft will be covered. The best part of the day is that the cost includes a R500* Lojan Voucher. Sometimes only a gentle nudge is needed to try something new. So if you are curious about warping, threading and weaving on a 4-shaft loom, then this day is for you. Limited to 6 weavers maximum. Two 4-shaft looms will be warped and the 3rd one we will warp up as part of the demo. Understanding to read a 4-shaft draft is also important. By the end of the day you will have a better understanding of what 4-shaft weaving entails and also go home with a woven piece woven by yourself. The day is interrupted with a delightful lunch. Refreshments included. *Voucher is valid for the month of January. To be used only on Lojan products.
