Workshops for January, February, March and April 2022
Let us welcome 2022 with open arms and gentleness and pray she will do the same for us.
The wonderful full day workshops continue for the next few months. No previous art experience is needed at all. It is a treat day for yourself to come and learn and absorb all that is earthy and printing related to fabric. It is always a joyous day of creating, laughing with delicious food and wine with fellow creatives. My studio capacity is a tad less than before as I am accommodating my new baby - an Ashford Knitters Loom into the Studio. So there will be a maximum of 8 spaces for workshops and as always include a snack station with a lovely lunch and some delicious de Trafford wines.
January
l still have 2 places available for next Friday and Saturday 21 & 22 January. It is a double date here in the studio. On Friday we shall create our own silk scarves and on Saturday we will go to the moody grey palette and create a hemp-linen piece enough for a double sided pillow cover or table centrepiece. Sign up here for both Botanicals on Silk (Module One) and Botanicals on hemp-linen and Paper (Module 2) for 2 full days of immersing yourself into this rewarding medium and working alongside nature. R3300 for both workshops.
Kogman & Keisie in Montagu is once again hosting me for the last weekend in January .
From Friday 28th to Sunday 30th I will be sharing how to obtain crisp clear prints on hemp-linen, play with tannins for blueish backgrounds and print on paper as well. It is almost fully booked. All enquiries and bookings directly with Liana: info@kogmanandkeisie.co.za

Saturday 12th
For past participants this day is for you. I will open my studio for you to come create in. I won't be teaching as such on the day but if there is something you would like to create, we will plan it before with a Whatsapp video call to discuss your ideas and possibles. The Studio will be open from 9am to 6pm with the steamer on from 10.30am to 4.30pm with lots of snippets of information throughout the day. R950 per participant. A snack station will be available throughout the day but you will be asked to provide your own lunch but of course there will be a glass of wine for your sandwich. Only 6 places will be available. I will need a minimum of 4 for this workshop to go ahead.
Friday 18th
Botanicals on Silk Module One at the charming Greenlands Farm(between Ashton and Swellendam) Head for the weekend to this beautiful part of the Overberg and start it off with a workshop at this colourful farm and wonderful eatery. Best bring your cooler box as Greenlands boasts their own gourmet heavenly homemade ice-cream. Bookings will be directly with Sara at Greenlands: pepperco@iafrica.com.
