Service Description

Friday 13th October 09H00 to 17H00 Venue: The Studio, de Trafford Wines, Stellenbosch This is a great way to see what botanical printing is all about and to realize that absolutely no artistic experience is required to enjoy this very free form of art with nature - and by the end of the magical day you would have created a beautiful botanical 100% silk pillowcase. Sweet dreams for many a nights. All full-day workshops include morning and afternoon refreshments with nibbles and a lovely lunch accompanied by some delicious de Trafford wines. We will gather 9am at de Trafford Manor House, nearby de Trafford Winery. A not so brief chat will be followed by some foraging, collecting and then to make a beautiful botanically printed silk pillowcase. It is possible to purchase an extra pillowcase at an additional R650 per pillowslip. A lovely interlude of a late-ish lunch will take place around 1.30pm. Please let me know soonest of any special dietary requirements. There will be a coffee/tea & snack station available throughout the day. Please don't plan to leave earlier than 5pm. Please note that pillowslips will be sewn post workshop and sent to your nearest Postnet or Pudo collection box. What to bring: comfy shoes sunhat 1 old dishcloth notebook & pen garden scissors basket/bag for collecting one compfy washing up glove your own water bottle for staying hydrated CANCELLATION POLICY: In-studio workshops are refundable, minus a 5% cancellation fee, if cancelled before or on Thursday 21st September. No refunds will be given if cancellation made on and after 22ndth September 2023.
